Adding Tactile Reaction to Hologram
ثبت نشده
چکیده
In this paper, a hologram with tactile reactions is presented. The developed system consists of three components; a holographic display, a hand tracker, and a tactile display. The tactile display, which is our original device, produces force on user’s bare hand without any contact by using radiation pressure of airborne ultrasound. It adds the sense of touch to optical images floating in mid-air. In order to represent the feeling of impact, some improvements are added to the tactile display. As a result, the tactile display has an ability to produce up to 4.8 gf without air flow.

Analysis of Digital Hologram Rendering Using a Computational Method
Active studies on holography, which is the ideal and final goal of 3-dimensional (3D) image display, have been undertaken mainly in the US, Europe, and Japan. In particular, real-time holographic video is the core technology for the next-generation 3D television (TV). The computer-generated hologram (CGH) was proposed by Brown and Lohmann [1] in 1966. It obtains an interference pattern through ...
متن کاملComparative Study between Hologram Technology and Augmented Reality
The great development witnessed by our current age has led to the emergence of many diverse modern technologies, one of these advanced technologies is Hologram technology and Augmented reality technology, These two technologies are somewhat similar to somewhat, as it can be said that they perform almost the same purpose, and at the same time, Hologram technology differs from augmented reality i...
متن کاملWatermarking Marbled Image Based on Linear Enhancement Hologram
A marbled image is generated by performing marbling operations on an image. When the marbled image is recovered to the original image, the parameters of the marbling operations should be known in the decoding process. By embedding these into the marbled image, we can eliminate an additional internet transmission. This paper proposes a watermark algorithm for marbled images based on a linear enh...

A series of structurally related 2,4-dioxopyrimidine-1-carboxamide derivatives as highly potent inhibitors against acid ceramidase were subjected to hologram quantitative structure-activity relationship (HQSAR) analysis. A training set containing 24 compounds served to establish the HQSAR model. The best HQSAR model was generated using atoms, bond, connectivity, donor and acceptor as fragment d...
متن کاملVibration Signal Synthesis for Representing Cutaneous Tactile
A surface meso-structure measurement and tactile device input vibration signal synthesis techniques are proposed. To measure the surface meso-structure, some photos are taken using a fixed camera with changing lighting incidence direction. A surface normal image is obtained from these photos. Then vibration signal as tactile device input signal is synthesized. Adding friction sound, the tactile...
